Glowing Skin Is In

Trends are changing. After years of full coverage foundation and heavy contouring, we now seem to be shifting into an era of a more natural looking makeup. A look that encourage women to let their natural beauty shine through. We're seeing soft shadows, no eyeliner, feathered brows, pretty lashes, glossy lips, freckles and most importantly glowing skin. Healthy, glowing skin is in and I know the perfect products to give you best looking complexion.

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask

The most important thing you can do for your skin(besides drink plenty of water) is moisturize! I happen to have pretty dry skin so I like to use a hydrating mask a couple of times a week. My favorite one is this Laneige mask. You can put it on right before bed and wash it off in the morning. Plus side is its pretty affordable(as far as skincare goes anyway).

Marc Jacobs Dew Drops

This is definitely in the top 10 of my favorite products of all time. I currently own two bottles, one for myself and one to keep in my kit. I use it for most of my brides. You can put it directly on the skin under your foundation or you can do what I do and mix it in with your foundation. I usually add a about one pump to my foundation and mix it in before applying it to my face. It adds an extra boost of radiance to any foundation.

Tarte Creaseless Concealer

It's the perfect, hydrating concealer. It doesn't completely dry down so it leaves a little bit of a dewy finish. It is a little bit on the ticker side since it is so full coverage, so I usually apply a small amount and blend/pat it out with my ring finger. It looks great if you want to skip on foundation and just do some spot concealing! I'll usually apply a little bit under my eyes and around my nose and chin when I'm going for a "no makeup, makeup look".

Mac Face and Body Foundation

Sheer, lightweight, dewy finish. This foundation will smooth out your skin while still letting it show through. I usually apply this all over with a buffing brush then go in with a little bit of concealer where I need it. It will feel like you're not wearing any makeup at all and still photograph well. Perfect for wedding day makeup too!

(Mac Face and Body Foundation $30)

L'OREAL Pro Glow Foundation

Another foundation favorite of mine is the L'OREAL pro glow foundation! It's has a bit more coverage than the Mac Face and Body foundation(listed above) and its a little bit more affordable! With the lightweight glow and SPF, this foundation is perfect for summer!

(L'OREAL Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation $12.99)

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector

I know most of you already know about the Becca highlighters, they've been popular for a while now but I can't help by still love them. They go on so smooth and give just the right amount of reflective glow. All it takes is one sweep of this highlighter across the tops of your cheeks to give you the perfect glowing look. My favorite shade is Champagne Pop, but it comes in a variety of shades so you'll be sure to find the perfect highlight for your skin tone.
